At Hartley Community Daycare Center (HCDC), our team of caregivers is the heart of our center. Each staff member undergoes extensive training to ensure they provide the highest standard of care for every child. They are certified in CPR and First Aid, trained as Mandatory Reporters, and follow Universal Precautions to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Our team also completes specialized training in nutrition through the CACFP Steps to Success and Meaningful Mealtimes, along with Essentials and Passport to Early Childhood Education coursework. As a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program-wide center, our staff focuses on fostering positive behaviors and social-emotional development, particularly in infants and toddlers. Many of our staff members are pursuing additional certifications and advanced training pathways, ensuring we remain leaders in early childhood education.
